The Karrimor Great Trail Challenge is set in one of the UK’s most scenic locations taking in fantastic Lakeland views of Keswick, Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite.
The single-lap 11km/7 miles approx. route starts out along the old Keswick Railway line, crosses the River Greta over the railway bridge at Brundholme before turning off towards Wescoe. The course then climbs the hill over the northern shoulder of Latrigg Fell before descending back to Keswick along Cumbrian Way and through Whinny Brow forest to the finish. The 22km/14 miles approx. course will consist of two laps of the 11km route.
Featuring music on course, fantastic scenery, the King of the Mountain and the Demon Descent- the Karrimor Great Trail Challenge is perfect for those who like a challenge!
